Oxii Moron released an experimental single titled ' Don't Assume’.
Earlier in the month, the artist teased the song through an Instagram live and Instagram reel which was posted on his birthday, as a present to his followers who have been waiting for new music. The single is taken off a forthcoming deluxe which is an extension of his Top 10 charting E.P, ‘Post-Love Clarity’.
'Don't Assume' is an R&B single, which includes elements of Amapiano. The artist delivers one verse that describes the entire song perfectly.
In the song, Oxii Moron shares his experience on a specific night out at popular Pretoria Night Club, Zanzou. He outlines how every club experience should not be about trying to find someone, but rather more about enjoying yourself. He further expresses that there's no love in the club, what it really is, is lust and people shouldn't assume that the experiences they have in a club are fully genuine. He vocalises this effectively through his soothing vocal performance.
The single is very fitting for a number of occasions, such as parties, clubs, long-drives, but more just based on the feeling it gives you.
The artist tends to focus on evoking certain emotions with his music and production. He continues to showcase his talents, having written, produced and engineered the song himself.
