Last year, award-winning locally made vodka brand, Russian Bear partnered up with renowned Afro-Pop duo, Blaq Diamond, to release new premium flavours, ‘Blaq Vanilla’ and ‘Blaq Ginger’.
Last Thursday, Russian Bear and Blaq Diamond hosted the ‘Next Level Dinner Experience’, with special guests at J’Something’s restaurant Artistry Rooftop in Sandton. Guests were treated to a special menu put together by J’ Something himself. On the night, Blaq Diamond performed their hits, ‘Summer Yomuthi’ and ‘Price To Pay’.
“The relationship between Blaq Diamond and Russian Bear started during Covid, late 2020. So far it has been amazing”, shared Blaq Diamond on their partnership with the popular vodka brand. “We grew up to a point where we launched the new flavours, Blaq Vanilla and Blaq Ginger and, so far, they’re doing pretty well man. Yeah, that’s just how our relationship is, we’re like family, basically.”
Prior to the event, Russian Bear and Blaq Diamond ran a competition for the launch of the new flavours which was won by Nonhlanhla Khanye.
She received R1 million worth of prizes, inclusive of a VIP trip to Afro Nation Portugal.
