Playground Production’s artist, the afro-pop superstar, Vuyina drops her debut album ‘23.02.99’.
In her latest body of work, Vuyina shares an array of personal stories reflecting moments of joy, sorrow, and introspection that have influenced her journey from her very beginning to who she is today. This intimate offering contains numerous transformative experiences that have impacted her life in various ways.
At times, Vuyina finds it difficult to articulate her feelings, be it happiness or sadness but creating this album allowed her to confront the issues she had difficulty verbalizing and enabled her to find solace. She hopes that those facing similar circumstances or recovering from them can also find healing, love and happiness through her music.
The album, overseen by its executive producer PLXYGRND, boasts an impressive lineup of artists, including Sizwe Alakine, Money Badoo, Loki, and Nomfundo Yekani.
