Nomfundo Moh has just dropped a new music video for her latest release, ‘Amalobolo’ which features Big Zulu.
The song is a lead single to her upcoming album, ‘Ugcobo’.
The music video is reminiscent of the 80s' era in South Africa as seen through the fashion depicted.
The 1980s are considered the boldest decade in fashion history, and in the visuals, Nomfundo Moh and the rest of the cast are draped in over-the-top silhouettes with saturated colours, flashy skirts and power suits, overall representing the era well.
In the visuals, Nomfundo Moh is seen yearning for marriage as she watches her neighbours undergo the lobola process. She puts pressure on her partner who seems to have no intentions of getting married.
Big Zulu is seen arguing with Nomfundo on the topical subject of getting married. His scene is shot at a tavern which is reminiscent of where black people used to get together and party in the 80s due to segregation in South Africa at the time.
