It was just last year on Valentine’s Day when Venom and Shishiliza formed an alliance to release their debut single as a duo titled ‘Sondela’ featuring Riky Rick, Raspy and Tshego.
The song broke records when it reached Gold status in a week which was highly unheard of in the Amapiano scene. Sondela spent weeks rotating on major radio stations across the country as well as charting on numerous charts on various platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify.
This follows the release of their debut album titled, ‘Love Is Pain’ as well as the award nomination for Sondela at the 2022 SAHHA. They now return with amazing news as their debut single, ‘Sondela’ has officially reached platinum status. It isn’t everyday where a single in the Amapiano scene reaches platinum status so congratulations to both Venom and Shishiliza and their team as this is a major milestone.
We cannot wait to see what other such achievements they will be achieving in the course of the year.
