Jay Jody Details His Life Story In 6 Track Project 'Revenge Is Sweet'

Jay Jody graced us with new project titled 'Revenge Is Sweet'. The surprise EP only features a total of three talented artists from AV on 'Star Signs' to Loatinover Pounds on 'Loot Love' and A-Reece on 'Free'. Each song is a personified written masterpiece as he guides us on his journey in life.

'Revenge Is Sweet' is opened up by a very story orientated intro titled, 'What's The West That Could Happen' which entails of how he fell in love with music. He first started out as a dancer but unfortunately he had to leave that part of entertainment to find a more stable job which lead to him waitering at a local restaurant just to make sure he provides food on the table for his family. Even through that he always found himself writing bars on the side and that is when he first got into studio through freestyling for people. This was when the birth of former group B3nchmarQ came to life as he met his now current Business Partner, Tkaystaxxx to form the rap group. Along the lines he fell in love with producing which he gathered all the needed resources from Tkay to ignite his passion for production. He has since grown to founding a record label with his younger brother, A-Reece and Tkaystaxxx namely known as Revenge Club Records which he emphasised, it's all for the kids of pretoria and his family.

He then follows this ear catching intro with track 2, 'Revenge' where he raps on the confidence he gathered whilst building and self belief as not many people believed him when he told them that someday he will be a 'superstar' but he never let their negative thoughts get to him. If anything he allowed it to be his core motivation for his drive alongside his family. It goes on to show if you put in your all, your dreams will come true eventually. Just be consistent and remain believing.

'Loot Love' with Loatinover Pounds then takes over the narrative as they rap about about the importance of unity and structure in life. So many people lack unity and structure in their lives hence when some of them get all the things they prayed for they mismanage because they never bothered to prepare themselves mentally for the blessings. They further tap into the importance of prayer as prayer leads to structure spiritually as well and with that you won't fall for anything thrown your way because you know your story.

'Stone Cold' then flips it in a way as he narrates how he lost certain people he thought he would be celebrating his wins with today but because none of them understood the journey they were quick to fold and turn their backs on him. Hence he is 'Stone Cold' in reference to WWE character 'Stone Cold Steve Austin' as he believed in himself and he never let the people around him influence his decisions as they can take your life down the hill and not even consider saving you as they looking out for themselves. It goes on to show that you need to know the direction you want to take and understand the journey as a whole as it will all make sense at some point.

'Star Signs' then brings a different touch and feel to the project as AV sings a hook that many can resonate to as she taps into knowing who you are and never losing yourself nor your morals because of misguided people. Jay Jody taps into always alligining everything in prayer and knowing that at some point in your life you will attract the things you think of and speak of as long as you do the actual work. So always speak positivity into your life.

He then closes it off with a song titled 'Free' featuring A-Reece which taps into what Freedom really is mentally and emotionally and to a certain degree physically. And based on his narrative is leaving all the things of the past that might have caused you harm or trauma and turning over to a new leaf of goodness and kindness to yourself as we cannot afford to replicate the mistakes of the elderly when we were growing up so the goal is always understanding that you need to do better and be a better individual even in character as this will at some point affect your family and he stands highly on family especially his kids. The song is without a doubt an amazing outro as it is easy to the ears and pretty much straight forward.
