With performances from the likes of Kabza De Small, Thabza Tee, Njelic, Kamo Mphela, Daliwonga, Toss and others, Boiler Room and Ballantine’s True Music Studios Soweto was lit. Each set had the audience sweating it out on the dance floor to South Africa’s hottest genre right now, Amapiano, which the event aimed to highlight.
We had Sizwe Alakine on the ground during the event, interviewing some of the performers about theirs sets, being on the True Music Studios line-up and how they are taking Soweto to the world.
