Uncle Partytime teamed up with Belo Salo, Una Rams, Crush! and Herc Cut The Lights to deliver his new, soulful single, ‘Gratitude’.
Earlier today, he took to socials to share a detailed explanation behind the inspiration of the song.
“I feel like I am constantly worrying about the next part of my life without realising I am right in the middle of the one I used to look forward to”, it quoted.
Uncle Partytime collaborated with three distinct voices to present one heart-warming record. The single collaborators delivered their respective verses over the hard-hitting baseline, creating a soothing, euphonious offering overall.
Belo Salo starts off the song by emphasising the inspiration behind it as he sings, “I’ve been trying to move past the life that I used to live, cos I desired the one that I’m living in.”
Una Rams hops on the beat and expresses his gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon him.
“I’m just grateful for these blessings on me”, he croons.
Crush! concludes the song by switching it up a little as he adds some Zulu bars in his verse. He prides himself in his hometown, Soweto, as well as his hustle because that’s what got him to where he is today.
The song highlights the importance of living life to its fullest instead of worrying about the things you cannot control, because the future is inevitable.
