By @OfentsePhukubye on 03/03/2023 in Music Video

Cape Town's very own PHFAT returns with a new song titled 'Hide'. The song is accompanied with stunning visuals that illustrate the sole message of 'hiding from reality' as he is seen running for a good distance until a subtle transition where he is in a dark room and hiding from being seen.

The song is is a mixture of electronic, rock, alternative and rap. You are bound to be stunned by the direction of the song and visuals as he takes you on a short journey in your mind. This is worth the listen as it introduces you to a totally unique sound or rather version of alternative music.

The world is a really confusing place at times and one just needs to take a break when they can as the complexity can lead to you losing yourself completely if you are not careful. Hence the title, 'Hide' as he expresses the need to hide from the world at times as a course of fear but you should not fear the world for any much longer as you are built to survive and make a difference to this world. So the song speaks on many levels to life but only you can define what it truly means as it speaks to everybody differently.
