Kenyan-born, Berlin -based artist and producer KMRU, has collaborated with the Nairobi Ableton User Group to curate a new compilation album called 'INSHA'. The album features 14 tracks by a diverse range of talented Kenyan artists.
The project was born out of a workshop organised by KMRU and Mbogua Mbugua Mbugua, known as M³, and includes music from Manch!ld, Nyokabi Kariuki, Kimina, Ngat Maler, Rushab Nandha, Snse, KMRU, and M³.

'INSHA' explores the role of music in Kenyan culture and storytelling, particularly in traditional ceremonies, aiming to bridge the gap between past and future music creators. The project aims to showcase the country's rich and diverse musical traditions, highlighting the talents of Kenyan artists and offering a fresh perspective on the country's cultural heritage.
