Joburg-based rapper Navis drops some laidback raps over a mellow bass-heavy instrumental on his latest single ‘Beauty Test’. He lets the beat breathe as he leaves space in-between his lines.
On his bio on Spotify, Navis says, “I love lyricism, but I also love vibes” and ‘Beauty Test’ dishes out both as the song’s mood fits his words of affirmation and sensuality.
In the visuals, directed by Fanwell Soko, Navis defines beauty as he raps alongside a model in an artsy apartment whose windows show a part of the Joburg skyline.
Featured rapper Micah K delivers poetic lyricism as he shows his animated face in a mirror at the apartment as Navis and the video model stare at each other.
