The music video for ‘Baphatsi Bekphila’ was shot in an informal settlement and portrays a day in a life of a young schoolgirl who leaves home happy but, sadly, returns in tears.
An older male figure is shown asking her with concern what is wrong and then later comforts the little girl.
The very same man appears to be stabbed in the next scene, where the now-happy little girl sees the injured man and begins crying and calling for help.
Joyler Teezey’s style is reminiscent of Blaq Diamond with his sing-songs raps which are delivered with a drawl over clean trap production.
