It appears AKA and K.O had started working on a joint project. K.O shared a clip of the two of them in studio on Instagram today. AKA was recording a verse which K.O remarked was fire.
According to Skhanda God they were in studio just seven days ago recording “a precursor single to our long overdue collaborative tape”. This was a project that would undoubtedly shake not just SA Hip-Hop but the music industry as a whole. An AKA and K.O link up has always been momentous, from ‘Run Jozi’ to Vigi’s ‘God’s Will’, ‘Bang Out’ alongside Nasty C and ‘Fire Emoji’. Both rappers seemed to bring out the best out of each other. AKA, in the last interview he did with SlikourOnLife, mentioned that his generation, all due respect to the new school, were the leaders of SA Hip-Hop and he mentioned with his return he was back to lead.
