South African Pop newcomer, singer-songwriter Tyla, will support Chris Brown on a massive UK and European tour this spring. It kicks off on Valentine’s Day at the iconic O2 Arena for a four-night stand with performances to follow on February 15, 16, and 17.
Next up, it rolls across mainland Europe and visits major cities with two nights at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, NL March 6-7 before returning to the O2 for two nights March 19-20. Finally, the jaunt concludes at Accor Arena in Paris, FR on March 26. Check out the confirmed itinerary below.
Recently, Tyla shared her new single ‘Been Thinking’. It has just begun to gain major traction at streaming platforms with over half-a-million streams and counting in addition to over 587K YouTube views on the music video.
Since its release, ‘Been Thinking’ was featured on Rolling Stone’s weekly list of Songs You Need To Know as well as OkayAfrica’s list of The Best South African Songs Out Right Now.
Additionally, Tyla has been making waves internationally by fusing Amapiano with pop R&B vocals, earning her critical acclaim from PAPER Magazine, I-D and CLASH.
Her debut single ‘Getting Late' featuring Kooldrink has amassed over 5.5 million views worldwide. She followed it up with the incredible DJ Lag collaboration ‘Overdue’, which soundtracked the trailer for Netflix’s ‘Blood & Water’. Tyla returned with ‘To Last’ in 2022 to great acclaim, earning praise from CLASH and The Independent.
Last year, Tyla turned up on ‘To Last’ which has tallied nearly 1 million cumulative streams thus far and continues to gain traction at DSPs. Out Now dubbed it “dreamy”, and HITS noted, “Tyla’s music shimmers with the euphoria of South African Amapiano, as she puts her vibrant personality on full display.”
