@asaioweofficial Sets The Mood For The Month Of Love With The Acoustic Version Of 'Letters To Soulmates'

By @OfentsePhukubye on 02/10/2023 in Projects You Should Hear

Asaiowé makes a remarkable return in 2023 as she releases the Acoustic version of her 2022 EP, 'Letters To Soulmates'. The soulful 7 track project stood out on its own as the production complimented the storytelling and this allowed for Asaiowé to showcase her skills in the most prestigious way possible. 'Letters To Soulmates' was more or less a love journey as we experience a variety of sides Asaiowé sings about from finding the love of your life to breaking up with them due to numerous factors such as lies, confusion and trust issues.

The EP does not only allow you to breeze through the emotions that one feels when in a relationship from, happiness to appreciation but also allows you to escape from the world to embark on this set love journey by Asaiowé. In preparation to the forthcoming holiday known as Valentines Day, Asaiowé has decided to gift the lovers of this world with an Acoustic version of her EP 'Letters To Soulmates' of which consists of only 4 tracks from the EP such as, 'My Way', 'Losing', 'Winter Times' and 'Crossroads'. Each song received a live performance element as she sings the touching lyrics with a live band backing her up.

This version is mainly created to amplify the experience when listening to songs as she felt that "...the songs will move people that are in love in the most soulful way possible as music is not just music. It speaks to people in various ways as they walk their different paths and I believe that each individual will have their own definition of what the song means to them. So the acoustic version will just allow them to understand the messages a little bit more and move them in the intended manner. Plus it is the month of love so what would be the best way to celebrate Valentine's Day aside of gifts... the answer would simply be good music."

The Acoustic version is a must listen as the project sets off a different mood and tone for all the lovers in the world. It is an easy listen project that you will enjoy as she and the band get into depth with the instrumentals of the songs. The release is followed by a Live Performance for 'My Way' of which is set to drop tonight at 6PM.

In the meantime, let us dwell into the mood of love with Asaiowé below:
