It was only 4 months ago when the 'Never Ride Remix' by Mashbeatz dropped. The remix featured the likes of Sjava, Saudi, LucasRaps, 25K, Wordz, Thato Saul, Maglera Doe Boy, Buzzi Lee, Roiii, YoungstaCPT and Anzo. Mashbeatz has since received an award for the 'Best Remix' category at the South African Hip-Hop Awards. This has since caused various conversations on the internet as many felt that the Maglera's verse in the original deserved verse of the year as many just couldn't stop singing along to it.
This remix has since brought various opportunities for Mashbeatz as not only did this make room for Saudi and Mashbeatz to collaborate on a tape but then also the original getting featured in a Spotify ad. The music video to the remix has since reached 1 Million streams on YouTube. This is a major milestone as this goes on to show the support and the love that the fans have for the song.
