@burnaboy Releases Visuals For 'Common Person'

The 'African Giant', Burna Boy returns with brand new visuals for his much loved song, 'Common Person'. The song is extracted from his Grammy nominated album, 'Love, Damini'. In the visuals we embark on a journey where Burna Boy visits a village and spends time with the people of the village.

The music video first opens up with a scene where Burna Boy and his team are arriving to the area and the people just have so much love for him. We are then taken to a scene where the little girl goes on to call her sibling about Burna Boy being outside. They then rush out to go see him as the young boy hugs him and in return receives a brand new guitar. Burna Boy is then seen helping out one of the elderly ladies as she happens to be carrying a heavy silver bucket with water. He then accompanies her to her destination to where he assists further with the crushing of a certain food.

We are then taken to a scene where he is helping out another elderly person with pushing their car as it happened to have broken down. The elderly man was so excited when he got home as he shared the news with his family and this simply brought joy into the household as they shared laughter over the story. Burna Boy is then seen spending time with the people of the village at a spot where they are all singing and dancing from the kids with microphones to the ladies in the background.

The music video best compliments what Burna Boy is singing about as he is not only bringing happiness into the hearts of many with his music but helping those that are pushing to achieve their dreams by motivating them through his art. It is more or a less a song that represents that we are all human no matter the position or stature you have within a community. You must always show love and respect to the people around you and even outside of your normal environment as we are all humans at the end of the day.
