By @AtlehangMoloi on 01/25/2023 in Music

Emerging Cape Town Hip-Hop artist, Mvula Drae returns to the scene after a 3-year hiatus with a stream of upcoming releases. He is scheduled to drop one to two singles each month.

“I have been experimenting with my sound and pushing the boundaries of what I can do with my voice,” said Mvula Drae. “It was a rough 3-year break, but now that I’m settled in my mind, body, and spirit, I can’t wait for my fans to hear the result of my journey. I’m a big believer of the idea that one cannot be triumphant without adversities, and in my case, I intend to prove to myself that as it were below, it shall be above. Just go listen to the new music and tell me I ain’t evolve?”

The artist’s growth musically, as well as his distinctive sound in the way he uses his voice in songs, is evident in his new music such as in ‘Roll Low Vol. 1’.

“I’m looking forward to getting back on stages and performing for my fans. I want to share my new sound with as many people as possible. I think the zone that I’ve tapped into is unchartered and truly special. It’s a little alternate reality to visit whenever you need it. The live shows are going to be wild to say the least”, he says.
