Mariechan is breaking her long hiatus with a new single titled 'Stella'. On Instagram, the singer stated that music was her only place of sanity as she tried to adjust to life post-Covid.
She explained the processes she underwent before finally getting to a place where she could deliver new music. “I’ve been creating, chopping, changing, starting again but mostly, following through with each process", she wrote.
Mariechan last released a body of work with 2018’s ‘Cherry Blossom’. She has contributed to a few songs since then, such as 'My Body (Stand Up)' alongside Lira and Gigi Lamayne in 2019, as well as 'Serendipity' with Ternielle last year. This Friday she’s releasing her first non-collaborative work in a long time.
