Converse as a brand has been adopted by musicians, artists, athletes, dreamers, and thinkers, with distinct connections around the globe and across cultures. The brand is continuously spearheading the creative spirit in individuals through its #CreateNext movement, where Converse All Stars are yet again challenged to innovate and enhance their creative narrative through music alongside The Kiffness. Converse is acclaimed for bringing together young creatives across the globe to learn and collaborate through creation, exploration via music, art, culture and different visual experiences to solidify their purpose of providing mentorship opportunities in youth culture. With music being one of the brand’s pillars, Converse wanted to illustrate through the All-Star program how music drives change in oneself and the community.
As a brand that has always prided themselves in empowering, community building and creating opportunities, Converse has done it again with 4 South African based All Stars along with live electronic act from Cape Town- The Kiffness. The Kiffness is a project that was founded by David Scott in 2011 & has since had major success in South Africa, touring both locally & internationally with a string of successful radio singles & 3 SAMA nominations. The Kiffness selected the below Converse All Star creatives to mentor and accompany them on their international Tour to Germany; - Muruńwa Mutele - Nikita Adams - Barney Modise - Ryan Nortjie. These All Stars attended a 5 day - 5 German city tour with The Kiffness, which kicked off their global experience from the 18th October.

Getting a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to make it in the industry, and it comes down to consistency in your content and how you as an individual are breaking through barriers to be unique in your own field.”
We are yet to see what amazing music the Converse All-Stars and The Kiffness will produce and perform.
