Last month, Sho Madjozi took to her socials to announce her then-upcoming children’s book by expressing that she draws her inspiration from suffering the loss of her younger sister in 2019 and the rapid trend of coloured braids on little girls that began that very same year.
In a clip that circulated on socials, she told Da L.E.S the book was “a dedication to my little fans.”
Today, the award-winning musician, who recently released the single ‘Toro’, triumphs over her new title as a “children’s book author” with her official release of the children’s book, ‘Shoma And The Stars’.
Ethnikids summarised the book as: "A young girl gets into trouble with her community, but when trouble comes knocking for them, she is there to save the day. A heart-warming story of adventure, community and friendship."
