Zimbabwean R&B/hip-hop star Hillzy is back with a new EP. ‘In The Building’ sees him claim his space as he both raps and sings convincingly in both English and his home language Shona.
He handles most of the production, with a few beats from Beatsmith and Manno Beats. ‘Forever’ sees him reunite with H3nry, a rapper he worked closely with earlier in his career.
The production in the first half of the project is prevalently trap but he also experiments with other sounds like pop, drill and Afrobeats on “Better for Myself’, “Chargie” and “Signs”.
