Mörda Releases His First Album As A Solo Artist Titled 'Asante'

By @AtlehangMoloi on 10/28/2022 in Projects You Should Hear

DJ and producer, Bongani ‘Mörda’ Mohosana from popular South African House Duo, Black Motion dropped his first solo project which is close to his heart as it is named after his daughter, ‘Asante’. The album houses ten tracks featuring the likes of Focalistic, Nkosazana Daughter, Murumba Pitch and many more talents in the industry.

Mörda collaborates with gifted singer-songwriter, Nkosazana Daughter in the lead single ‘Summer Love’ which gained a lot of traction over the weeks building up to the highly anticipated album release. The song was teased with a short snippet that the musician shared on his Instagram page of his daughter, Asante, which had fans speculating what Mörda could be cooking up as he captioned the sneak peak, "Are you ready?". ‘Summer Love’ is my personal favourite, despite it being a fan-favourite accompanied by a simple, aesthetically pleasing visualizer.

The enjoyable music offering, ‘Asante’ made it just in time for the summer as Mörda successfully composed an electrifying, feel-good body of work, filled with hot bangers perfect to jumpstart the festive season!
