@Tae_africa Releases Debut Album, 'Facets'

By @OfentsePhukubye on 10/28/2022 in Projects You Should Hear

Tae Africa has officially released his debut album titled, 'Facets'. The 18 Track project features only three people from 'Dibi' to 'PdotO' and 'Haem-O'. Facets is more of a project that is aimed at showcasing Tae Africa's versatility as each single has a touch of sound experimentation. Tae did not hold back in his debut album as you are able to pick on the inspiration for certain singles based on the samples as he took us back to the times of Snoop Dogg with his single 'Higher'.

I only got to give the album a listen an hour ago as I never received time to sit down, relax and jam to the amazing body of work. In the process of me listening to the project, you can tell the love he has for family as he constantly references his mother mainly in the intro towards the end. He brings us into his personal space with this project as we get to learn who Tae Africa and why he does what he does. This project is released after his deal with Content Connect Africa came fruition for distribution. Now this is progress for him as he continues to grow and expand his sound whilst having the right team when distributing his music to the world.

This is a must add project as it will get you into the Hip-Hop state of mind as you learn more and more about the artist.

You can stream the album below
