Last night was an amazing evening as we got hosted in the heart of Pretoria for the official launch of 'Revenge Club Records'. The highly intimate event was classy as you are welcomed by kind and caring representatives from new baby on the block, 'Golden Thread Agency'. The agency currently hosts all artists under the 'Revenge Club Records' label as they offer 360 management deals to labels and artists.
The agency best represented their client in the most sophisticated way possible as they graced each guest with free drinks and food before the event began and when the event began you were able to move around as well as be comfortably seated if needed be. Everyone was so genuine but anyways back to the event. So the three founders of 'Revenge Club Records' decided to officially launch the business but then this follows their initial 10 week rollout that introduced the brand as well as showcased what the brand is about. It allowed us to feel what they will be giving us before we even got the initial launch. The label currently houses the three founders of which is 'Jay Jody', 'A-Reece' and 'Tkay 10staxx'.
They aim to impact the Hip-Hop scene in Pretoria as there is barely any platforms that cater for the artists of pretoria and since they have the platforms, why not share them with the talented individuals that barely get the recognition they deserve. They also envision the label protecting our fellow producers from exploitation by simply leading the way for producers to have managers as this has been a constant issue in the music industry as a whole.
Revenge Records Club currently holds projects such as 'Sunset Stories: A Mixtape' by Jay Jody and 'DEADLINES: Free P2' By A-Reece' as well as 'heaveN caN waiT: thE narroW dooR, vol. 1' by Blue Tape. The label houses amazing music of which tells stories that many can resonate to. They are currently focusing on building their careers fully that way when they sign new talent they are not all over the place as they are able to cater for the needs of the artist. This is honestly an amazing establishment as it will change the whole music scenery in pretoria as well as the African continent as a whole. We do not have much businesses or creatives investing into such platforms so for that I clap my hands for them as they continue to change the game and make history.
I am so grateful to have been graced with the opportunity to experience such a lovely beginning of which I believe will touch the lives of many generations to come so let's buckle in as we endure this amazing and historical journey with them.
In the meantime, do cop your tickets for their forthcoming experience at 'Altitude Beach' on the 4th of November. I am talking about 'Road To Reece Effect' via the link below.
