As I am writing this article, I just wonder if people do actually remember this memorable drop as it has been over 6 years since A-Reece graced us with his debut album 'Paradise'. This album takes one for the books as it changed many lives alongside the narrative of South African Hip-Hop as at that time we didn't really have much high energy Hip-Hop artists that were diverse in the process.
This project still hits home as I constantly revisit the memories I have built upon the music as it was like therapy to the ears. 'Paradise' has to be the best debut project as it opened a lot of doors for A-Reece. As he went on to further grow in his career after leaving the label.
The 18 Track project changed how we consume hip-hop music as many other rappers followed into his footsteps of making actual 'rap' music. He graced various stages with his debut album alone as he toured the country and got to go into other African countries.
Today we get to celebrate the album officially turning 6 today as this is a big milestone not only for A-Reece but then for his $limes.
