Fresh Hip-Hop artist, Robin Thirdfloor announced the release of his 6th album titled ‘Izigaba Zothando’. The direct translation to the Zulu titled album is ‘Phases of Love’, which is essentially what the project entails. This body of work is an independent release through his record label, ‘Bothela Republic’. The 10-song album features the likes of Xenlaii, Lungelo Manzi and Nipho Hurd.
A few fan-favourites from ‘Izigaba Zothando’ include the leading single, ‘Unenhlanhla’, along with ‘Shandapha’ and ‘Lebo Mathosa’. The artist embodies an eccentric, unique style in his unconventional sound and throws in a few songs such as ‘Ngizokunanekela’ which introduces a more refreshing and vibey feel to the album. The build-up, storytelling approach to the project is a rather interesting one as Robin expresses different stages of love while embarking on an interesting romantic quest for the girl of his dreams.
