Pabi Cooper has finally graced us with her highly anticipated EP 'Cooperville' after a long time of teasing new music. The project is long overdue as it caters for the Double Platinum single 'Banyana Ke Bafana' with the infamous Focalistic and Ch'cco. It has appearances from the likes of 'Blxckie', 'Yumbs', 'Focalistic' and many more.
'Cooperville' serves as her first ever body of work as she showcases her musical skills and talents from her singing to her rapping in 'Wag n Bietjie'. This 8 track EP was exclusively produced by 'Yumbs' alongside other producers on particular singles. We were lead by a listening session last night in Fourways and the crowd went crazy as she played each song followed by an explanation on to what exactly inspired her to write each song as well as the stories behind the recording process as they went on a studio camp so you can imagine the memories built behind the tape recording.
The tape release follows the release of her Docu-series on YouTube of which takes us on the journey of Pabi Cooper during the course of the year. I would like to congratulate the fellow artist as this is a masterpiece and honestly speaking I highly look forward to the visual treatment as I trust that Pabi Cooper will put in the work as she has been for the past year.
