Yanga Chief has an extensive reputation in the industry as an amazing creative as he has never disappointed when it comes to dropping artistic music. Throughout his extensive career, he has shared numerous mics and stages with a variety of talented artists from the likes of AKA to the likes of the late Riky Rick. He has graced us with numerous hits from delivering the most catchy hook on AKA's Run Jozi to 'Utatakho' as a whole. He has one hack of creative ear as even the artists he picks for features take the song to the next level just as 'Dee Koala's verse on Utatakho as well Boity's verse to even having Blxckie and 25k on his single 'Ntoni Na' of which hit the radio waves like there is no tomorrow.
One of my favourite songs by him has to be '200' as for me it served as a confidence booster when I lacked confidence to go get things done. It is that one song no matter how far long it has been since it's release will forever remain relevant on my playlist as it still serves it's purpose. I love how he put together the visuals as they stand out within each scene. I was so happy to hear that the single has been certified Gold as he deserves it. Yanga Chief has been hard at work since the start of his career as a visual artist and now that he is able to express his creative styles on both ends through both mediums, music and videos, I am excited to see what else he is to achieve.
I would simply love to say congratulations to Yanga Chief and may he continue attaining more achievements.
