Aya Msani isn't just a regular name. It is the name of a multi-talented individual who is well known in the Music space and Film space. Aya is definitely hear to make a landmark with her name as she expresses her voice in various mediums from shows to music. My first exposure to the artist has to be with her single titled, 'Don't' as the art cover reminded me of the one and only Bryson Tiller's 'Trapsoul' album. I then went on to listen to her EP from the year before and I have got to say, she created a masterpiece. I love how she compiled the 6 track EP from the structure of the songs to the sound itself. It is so authentic to an extent where you dwell deep into the project for detail. I love the intro as the backing drums make it sound like a Jazz project.
I love the initial approach she took towards her work as her sound consists of diverse sides within the alternative music space. She has since extended her sound with the single 'Don't' as it expresses her musical growth.
I was excited to hear that she will be dropping a new single soon as it has been a good 5 months since her recent release and I cannot wait to hear what she has packaged for us. Immediately when I heard the teaser, I knew that it was a then and now moment where I should compile this mini-announcement for her. I hope you get jammed up for this release just as I am.
