Check Out 'WYM2M' By @cheryl_zondi

It's not everyday where one writes on how they discovered a certain artist over a period of time but Today's discovery for me blew me away. I am talking about the one and only Cheryl Zondi. She recently dropped a single titled, 'WYM2M' of stands for 'What You Mean To Me' and the song drew me closer to the talent as the opening harmony of the song grabbed my attention.

I gave the song a listen multiple times as I tried to understand the song on a more in-depth connection and I was taken away by the message I came across when listening to it. So from my understanding of the storyline is that 'She has fallen in love with a certain individual and this certain individual just pops out the inner-happy side of the character. The character is though tired of the sad times and the hard times as they seek for validation of what their partner feels for them to a point this partner is more of an addiction than anything. She though does not care as this individual has won her heart and she is willing to see beyond the flaws and the challenges as that person is very precious'. Now this could be a self-dedicated song for all we know as sometimes we tend to forget the value we weigh in our own lives due to us investing our emotions elsewhere and we skip through the cracks of our lives without trying to fill up or repair but those cracks form detail to our lives and allow us to be in tune with our 'feelings'.

Cheryl is without a doubt gearing up to takeover the RnB scenery in South Africa with her sweet and yet relaxed vocal play. I honestly cannot wait to hear her EP titled, 'Love Imposes' of which will be dropping on the 30th of September. Feel free to Pre-order the EP on Apple Music.
