On the 19th July 2022, a day before Riky Rick’s first heavenly birthday, we celebrated the opening of his revamped Legends Barbershop store at Waterfall, making it the second flagship store in Joburg.
This intimate gathering was attended by Riky Rick's family and close industry friends, with Moozlie being the host for the night.
Riky’s mother opened with a heartfelt prayer. Sheldon, the founder of Legends Barber, told us how Riky became the first franchisee of the brand and the sentiment when they opened the store for the first time. Riky Rick's wife, Bianca Naidoo closed the evening thanking everyone for their support.
When entering the store you met with a beautiful gallery of Riky Rick’s life and times which has been curated by Bianca. The walls are also graced with the magazine covers and plaques that he’s achieved. Similar to the Menlyn store, there’s a VIP area where you get offered more than a haircut....
