South African singer-songwriter, Halo Yagami is quite an interesting and unique artist to listen to because his sound is grounded in South African sounds.
Hailing from KwaMashu in Durban and relocating to Johannesburg to pursue his musical dream, Halo has been candid about his struggles as an independent artist, with little to no support system at times and this is heard on his current 'Usiba' - EP that featured Maglera Doe Boy and Marcus Harvey. His debut release Usiba (2022), is a self-produced 4-track EP.
The singer-songwriter has now officially announced his debut album, "You Can’t Replace The Sun" which is expected to be released on the 5th of August 2022.
