Just two months ago, Riky Rick fans were celebrating seven years of his debut album, "Family Values". Unfortunately this time we had to celebrate the anniversary without Riky Rick's presence. Released by Makhado Makhado Agency on 3 April 2015, 'Family Values' is the only studio album by our late South African rapper, actor, fashion fanatic, songwriter, composer and record producer Riky Rick.
This week it was noted that Riky Rick's "Family Values" album had be removed from all streaming platforms. Please note that it was taken off Spotify close to two years ago and this week, we find that "Family Values" is no longer accessible on any streaming platforms as fans tweet their concerns.
Sometimes the music is only available in certain countries, while access is blocked to others. Sometimes the album or song will be unavailable temporary, and come back again later. Deletion can be for a variety of reasons, but usually reflects a decline in sales so that distributing the record is no longer profitable.
While the internet has immensely increased access to all the music people love, allowing them to find and listen to what they want when they want, streaming — like anything else — still has its difficulties. There are several reasons why an album might be removed from streaming services either temporarily or permanently. It is unknown whether this has been the family's decision on not but we will keep you in the loop as we find out more.
Looks like Riky Rick’s “Family Values” album has been removed from all streaming platforms.
