South African singer-songwriter, Halo Yagami is quite an interesting and unique artist to listen to because his sound is grounded in South African sounds.
Hailing from KwaMashu in Durban and relocating to Johannesburg to pursue his musical dream, Halo has been candid about his struggles as an independent artist, with little to no support system at times and this is heard on his current 'Usiba' - EP that featured Maglera Doe Boy and Marcus Harvey.
Over the past weekend, Halo Yagami shared a story on Instagram teasing a collaborative project with one of the hottest artists in the streets right now, Maglera Doe Boy titled, "Word And Melody", which could perhaps be his next release. Let us know if you're excited about this interesting collab.
