For those that don't know, DJ Maphorisa was once a hip-hop producer and was working with the likes of esteemed rapper, A-Reece. This was before his transition to arguably one of the biggest genres in the country, Amapiano.
With the creation of amapiano, it has offered many artists such as Uncle Waffles, Focalistic, Reece Madlisa & Zuma, Kamo Mphela, Major League and DBN Gogo (just to name a few) to travel across the board to perform these incredible dance songs.
Over this past weekend, Madumane a.k.a DJ Maphorisa shared some images of him in studio during his Los Angeles stay, and was spotted in studio with American record producer, record executive, and DJ, Metro Boomin as well as the "Made In Lagos" album maker, Wizkid. Now this wouldn't be the first time that Maphorisa collaborates with Wizkid as they have been heard together on the 2016 hit, "Soweto Baby" with DJ Buckz.
It is however, very interesting to see Metro Boomin' in the mix, as he is known for his contribution to plenty of known hits today and executively working with 21 Savage. How this collaboration comes about will be extremely interesting.
Let us know below if you are just as excited as I am for this potential collaboration.
