@MSAKAZI_RSA Takes Her Talents to The National Airwaves

Orange Farm born Radio DJ, MC and artist, Msakazi, sets her sights on national radio and takes her taste-making prowess to Metro FM.

Mpumi Mlambo, as some may know her, who has had an incredible rise in radio - with accolades to back it - now joins the ranks as one of the top broadcasters in the country.

After 7 years at Power FM, Msakazi made a name for herself as a tastemaker in the music scene, unearthing new talent as well as being an instrumental figure in documenting culture, with her show PowerLounge. In 2014, she bagged an MTN Radio Award for Best Breakfast Show Presenter, not to mention interviewing the likes of Ari Lennox, Angelique Kidjoe, Ckay and Kiddominant, to name a few.

During the most difficult time in recent memory, COVID-19, Msakazi managed to secure a hosting gig for a season of Lockdown HouseParty, a national hit during the pandemic. Now, she boasts a new show on South Africa’s number 1 urban radio station.

Msakazi’s new show The Hustlers Fix airs from 2AM to 5AM weekdays, where you can tune in and get your fix to end off your night or kickstart your day.
