Seeing ZRi.'s music doing well makes me happy. It's nice to see different artists being authentic versions of themselves and getting appreciation for it. Whenever I listen to an EP by ZRi., I never understand what he is talking about when it starts off and that isn't a bad thing. It's like watching a movie that isn't predictable. There is always one song or a specific line that gives me the 'ah hah' moment with ZRi.'s music. It makes you sit back and appreciate the effort ZRi. puts into creating a theme for each EP. NEPTUNE is a bit wavier (pun intended) and 'spaced' out than SAGE. It speaks to his self-awareness. ZRi. knows he has 'out of this world' dreams. I felt like he was talking to me directly when he started touching on his mental health and how he was bullied in school. I think ZRi. has a unique balance as an artist. He knows how to let you into what's going on in his head without being overly personal. His stories are always relatable enough for people to see themselves in ZRi but he maintains a level of respect for the music as a form of entertainment. Check Out NEPTUNE below.
