Rising South African R&B/Hip-Hop star, Faith K releases her sophomore album titled Nangena. The album included her single ‘Bounce’ that was released earlier this month.
Nangena is a ten track album with features from Gigi Lamayne, Zingah, and Money Badoo. Translating from Tsonga, Nangena means “I’m going in,” and this is executed throughout the album as Faith paints the details of her experiences since her K’Loud EP release in 2020. Tracks on the album, such as ‘You,’ feature Faith’s softer side as an R&B artist, while others, like ‘Midas,’ show a harder side of her as a rapper.
“My goal was to really hone on my experiences from the pandemic and my experiences in general that people would be able to relate to,” says Faith K. “I hope that when people have a chance to listen to Nangena, that they’re able to identify with the music.”
Faith K is ready to take centre stage with ‘Nangena’ while delivering new music to her fanbase and attracting new fans, both in the public and industry alike.
