Bravo Le Roux has released his first single for the year 2022, a gospel-influenced song titled 'Phezulu Enkosini'. This time he teams up with uManamathela from the award-winning duo Soul Kulture and the song should set the tone for the rest of the year.
"We had a studio session and uManamathela was playing a whole lot of different beats until we bumped into this one, all we could hear was the rendition of Zola 7's Phezulu which is where the title and the chorus was derived from"- Bravo Le Roux
The rapper had a successful 2021 as he was also nominated for 2 SA Hip Hop Awards. The single with Yanga Chief titled 'Amandla' dominated airwaves and dance floors over the last year. He followed up this success with the song titled 'Yabo' featuring Youngsta CPT. The music video for 'Yabo' had over 10 thousand views on Youtube on the day of its release.
"After making Late Night Chats, me and Bravo Le Roux started having more conversations about making more music together but it needed to make sense. When we made this song we just knew that this is the one"-uManamathela
