19-year-old afropop newcomer Zee Nxumalo last night announced that she had teamed up with independent label Punchline Media and will be releasing her debut single titled "Siyajola" next Friday.
Despite having gone viral on several occasions and establishing herself as a growing TikTok star over the past year, Zee is a muso at heart. And although her quirkiness, humour and larger-than-life persona has kept followers engaged as she rapidly generated over 160K followers across Instagram and TikTok, fans have consistently been asking her to release the music she's been teasing on her socials for several months now.
Having spent time in the studio honing her craft, the promising young star is ready to take things to the next level as she reintroduces herself with a new team and a new single. There’s gonna be a lot more music on the way this year as she continues to lock in with engineer and producer, Profound. “I’m gonna be compensating for all the years I wasn’t dropping enough music," says Zee. "Expect more content, and just more of Zee Nxumalo all year.”
