Hip-hop and trap musical duo Champagne69 have finally completed their debut album, 'Waves Never Die', after a long two year process.
The rappers Siya and Willestilios both rose to internet fame in 2015 when they would host their 'Onyx - Rage Fest' events in Braamfontein as a duo known as Champagne69. In 2016, the boys released the official music video for 'Wrong One' featuring industry mate, PatricKxxLee - who at that time was also scratching the surface trying to get into the industry. 'Wrong One' went on to be their biggest hit at that time and brought attention to their names. Following the year of 2016, the duo kept the momentum going as they released their new single and music video titled, 'Champain' produced by Lunatik Beats, which, at that time was their biggest hit on the internet.
The rappers went on to releasing more music that year and in 2018, their breakthrough happened when they collaborated with musical producer Gemini Major on their record 'Smoke'. Later that year, Champagne69 released their 'Army Of 2wo' EP followed by '808 Therapy' EP and then 'Two On Two' EP in 2020.
With many people asking what happened to the group after their two year hiatus, the year 2022 will see the return of Champagne69 in bigger and better form as their debut album 'Waves Never Die' is scheduled to be released this year! This certification came about when the group shared the official artwork for their album mentioning;
"This Is Our Debut Album Which We’ve Put Together Over About Two Years, And We’ve Collaborated With Some Of The Amazing Individuals We’ve Met Over The Years. 2022 Is About To Go Kräzy!".
