Two multi-dimensional artists, Doowap and Windows 2000, have come together to create a genre-defying banger that will set the tone for the future of music.

Doowap, born Khetsiwe Morgan, drops the “DJ” title for her latest releases and continues to trail blaze her path as an Artist and Performer. Following her recent Afro-fusion single featuring HYPE cover artist, Money Badoo, Déjà Vu, Doowap is about to introduce everyone to the futuristic Kwaito sound she has been channeling creatively.
For this ground breaking sound, Doowap has joined forces with the new age rapper sensation Windows 2000 who is the founder and Creative Director behind DOCC Collective, and stylist to Cassper Nyovest. Born Nokana Mojapelo, Windows 2000 has been traversing many scenes within the South African music and creative industry; recently releasing a single with 25K called I Remember.
His journey as a rapper started in 2016 with the successful drop of his joint EP Booty Call produced by Tokyo Black. The EP was initially released on Soundcloud and was a game changer within the South African rap scene. Their unique sound would set the tone for future rappers to dabble and drop verses on unique beats and future kwaito. sounds.
“Windows 2000 defines the future of our generation for me” says Doowap when asked why she chose to work with Nokana for her latest project. “He has always been visually and audibly miles ahead of everybody. Collaborating with this young genius has always been a goal of mine”.
The parallels between these two artists are also communicated through their unique styles; both highly versed in the fashion game with authenticity that cannot be faked. With this latest offering IZINJA ZEB’SUKU which is set to drop Friday 10th December 2021, they bring that 90’s Kasi Chic inspired aesthetic to their collaboration with a dancefloor banger that is set to rock speakers worldwide.
IZINJA ZEB’SUKU was produced by the Managing Director of Platinum League International and eclectic music producer Vugar M Beats, who channeled inspiration from old skool kwaito and mid-tempo tracks to create this masterpiece of a song which is both nostalgic yet modern.
