Silas Africa is fast becoming one of those artists that I will remain a fan of for years to come because of his affinity for authentically South African sounds. This song makes me think of the days I was growing up with my grandmother in the East Rand. For those that don't know, Silas Africa has an incredible voice and he is a sight to behold when performing live. In fact, you might say he is too great because it is near impossible to not use it as a crutch at times. I love how he focused on accompanying the production of the song and used his vocal range to add layers. It makes the song feel complete and gives it a rhythm that you would be hard-pressed not to groove to.
