Zoe Hines obsession with music started at an early age, which was heavily influenced by her father, as Zoe recalls the bass of his speakers vibrating every wall in the house while growing up. As she grew older she started looking at other sources for inspiration and Zoe notes, Mac Miller, The Internet, SYD, Frank Ocean and Orion Sun as some of her greatest influences. The Brooklyn-based, New Jersey-raised artist began to experiment with her own sound craft, creating timeless stories for listeners searching for answers in the deepest part of their psyche.
After recently releasing her debut EP, Everything's Fine - Zoe is back with two new singles titled 'TEEN WOLF" and "BLOOD MOON" which were packaged together as The Night Before Seasonal Depression
"When I was in high school, the MTV show Teen Wolf was one of my favorite shows to watch and I came up with the idea to relate my growth within myself and music to some of my favorite characters in the show. The two songs represent the good and evil within yourself and what those two feelings do when one overpowers the other” - says Zoe.
In the spirit of Halloween, she also shares a spooky two-part music video shot and edited by Julian Watanabe-Neis to coincide with the releases. The video finds Zoe going through a haunting transformation beginning to take over her mind and body. A melodic flow on a trap banger is what you can expect on this trick or treat journey.
