Born and raised in the East Rand of Johannesburg, Aba Sindiswa Aba Pheli Shembe also known as ASAP Shembe is a recording artist who first encountered music in his early childhood days. Growing up, ASAP was exposed to a wide variety of music through his father's extensively large cassette collection, which would prove pivotal in his artistic direction.
ASAP Shembe released his first EP called "Inkinga" which was followed up by his "Butter I" and in 2019 "Butter 2" EP series that gained traction.
