@GodfadayeKasi Releases His Debut Project, 'God Album'

Ngane “GODFADA YEKASI” Sikobi chased his dream by enrolling himself to study Poetry, Sound Engineering and Musical Instruments at KwaMashu Community Arts Centre through Sound Skills Programme and Commudep. Ngane Sikobi graduated in 2006. His Journey started when he produced “Word Up” one of KZN’s finest Hip Hop Radio Show for Vibe FM giving fans of the music a platform where they could express themselves and for the underground rappers to launch their careers. Godfada turned his focus into music production side of the Hip Hop business where he produced Zakwe’s debut and sophomore albums, Zakwe’s debut album was a resounding success as it managed to achieve a gold status from Sony Music as a best selling album and the project scored a Metro FM award for best Hip Hop. While the iron was still hot, Ngane “GODFADA” Sikobi produced the debut and second studio album for Duncan moving him from underground Hip Hop scene into mainstream music with numerous chart topping singles from “Tsiki Tsiki” to “Sikelela” both his albums received remarkable public response which lead to one of the singles scooping a Metro FM Music Award for BEST REMIX.

Apart from all the work he has done for other artists, Godfada also produced quite a number of title sequences for some of your favorite shows from RING OF LIES THEME S1&2 FOR MZANSI MAGIC, SOKHULU & PARTNERS THEME S2 FOR SABC 1 & INGOMA THEME S1 FOR MZANSI MAGIC.

These accomplishments have been the fuel that has brought him to this point where he is able to directly invest in himself through Godfada operations a company where he is a director along with three other like minded individuals, This year 2021 the investment he is making is to put all his available resources in making sure that his debut album reaches music lovers in a best presentation possible. His debut project is simply titled “God Album” through it he is able to showcase his talent as a performing artist, a notable male act in the South African music scene besides the already known fact of being one of the most decorated Hip Hop music producer. The album debuted at No.4 on iTunes and has guest appearances from the likes of Jaziel Brothers, Dj Tira, Danger and Lastee to name a few. Multi-talented, hard working and well decorated is few words we could surely use to describe Godfada.
