When I first listened to G.M.I Venus I thought that maybe this is a duo because he sounds like two completely different people when he raps compared to when he's singing. It's rare to find an artist that can genuinely do both at such a high level. On 'Kei$ha Burn$' he really flexes his ability to create a single. He effectively floats on top of a bouncy tropical production and switches effortlessly between singing and rapping. Both his rapping and singing are melodic enough to keep the listener interested but if you listen intently you will find that he is a pretty good wordsmith too. 'Until The Morning' sees him embrace the rapper role completely and it's impossible to listen to the song without walking away thinking 'who is this guy?'. He leaves the singing duties to an artist by the name of Libra Aima, who does an amazing job at matching the soulful vibe of the song. Stream 'Kei$ha Burn$' and 'Until The Morning' below.
