Thapelo Israel Mofokeng is a 21 year old artist, popularly known as Cheez Beezy and was born and bred in KwaMhlanga Mandela Village, Mpumalanga. His music journey began in 2007, where he was a backup artist for his parents who were Gospel artists back then. Singing and rapping in his language, he has managed to fuse his cultural heritage with a Trap sound which he now refers to as Sotho Trap. 

On his latest release, titled Tshipi we can hear all of these influences come together to deliver a flawless flow meshed with warm, airy vocal layers on a banging trap beat. Check the single out below;
