Young, fresh, musically trained artist and trendsetter, Benny Afroe, raises the bar once again and this time it's in the form of a never-seen-before marketing strategy. True to Benny Afroe nature, the rockstar's EP, Yours Truly which he recently released, has it's very own Tinder account doing the rounds on the dating platform. The project is filled with sultry, sexy and heartfelt love songs, which speak to the artist's romantic and suave self. So what better way to promote the EP than on the world's biggest dating platform?
The campaign was doing really well, with positive responses from the 'matches' and over 100 likes, with some saying they have jammed the project already and others admiring the marketing genius of the mini campaign. All was going well until the Yours Truly account was banned by the dating platform in just over a week. In the same week we saw the YouTube views shoot up to over 68k views. If you happen to spot Yours Truly while swiping and searching for the love of your life, don't forget to swipe right and check out the colourful EP available on all platforms.
